For a transfusion day, it's worked out pretty well. I got my iPod going and listened to a hemi-sync meditation, so I never even noticed the stick. Then I took a Benadryl and slept through most of the day. Afterwards Mike and I went to a late lunch at one of our favourite places (
Wild Flour Bistro) where we got to talking with the owner and did some on the side wine tasting. Found a new red I really liked - Malbec from Argentina. Apparently there isn't much middle ground on this one. People either love it or hate it. I thought it was nice, crisp and clean. The taste is not exactly what you expect from the bouquet. After that we went by the bank to update some signature cards. Now I'm back home and wonder of wonders, didn't feel like I needed to go flop in the bed.
Not ready to run a marathon, but it's certainly an improvement.

I'm glad you're having up-day, Becky. I'm sending postiive vibes your way.
And I LOVE your blog! Especially the pink template. I added you to my blogroll, and I'll check in everyday...or when time allows.
Thanks, Val. I appreciate all the positive vibes. And thank you for your kind comments about my blog. For years I always wrote with a pink pen, and pink was "my signature colour" long before Steel Magnolias. An excellent choice for your blog colour & name. :-)
I am also glad you are having an "Up Day"! :)
I added you to my blogroll yesterday. Actually, I didn't even know you had a blog until yesterday. But as soon as I found it, I had to add it instantly!!!
Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us. You are a truly amazing person. And I am also sending all the positive thoughts, vibes and wishes I can to you.
Craig, thanks so much. I've actually had the blog for a couple of years, but haven't done much with it. I decided that this might be the best way to keep my extended family and friends caught up with how things are going. I appreciate all the positive thoughts, vibes and wishes. You all are great!
So happy to hear that you had an "UP DAY". BTW, I love your blog and had no idea until this evening that you had a blog. Praying for continued "up days".
Carolyn
