Thursday I had more blood work done and saw my doc. My white count had come up to 0.1. Yea!!! Everything else was low, so Friday I had transfusions of 2 units of red cells and 1 of platelets. On both days I had Neupogen shots. He put me on a different antibiotic, Biaxin, that I have to take twice a day for the next 10 days. Because my white count is still so low, I have to keep wearing the mask if I'm around people. And we had to postpone the Dacogen treatment. Now we're hoping to start it on the 19th. Hopefully with the Neupogen jump start, my white count will look much better this next week.
