My elder daughter, Abbey, dressed up as Dorothy this past Halloween. And of course, she wore some fabulous ruby slippers!

Carolyn, when Abbey was 3yo, my employer at the time found some ruby slippers for children and they cost $85. Now 20 years ago I did splurge on some things for her, but was just not paying that kind of money for a pair of shoes she wasn't going to wear very long. So my boss bought them and Abbey has been in love with Ruby Slippers ever since. LOL. These days I think she's an Imelda in training. I really like this pair of Ruby Slippers, too. :-)

A rare pair of ruby slippers, glittering with a perfect bow. The white lace socks make the outfit perfect. So very Judy Garland-ish.
