Pink Saturday ~ Chihuly Pinks 3

Pink Saturday is hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound. She loves pink and graciously invited the rest of us to play along. Check out her blog to see who all else is enjoying this week's pink party.

Once again my entry for Pink Saturday is from one of Dale Chihuly's garden installations. This one was in Pittsburgh in 2007, but is not a photo that I personally made. It was sent to me by a friend as I was too ill with the MDS and chemo treatments to go to the Pittsburgh exhibit. This tall pink tower that was made to look like a stack of pink gems. Or perhaps pink beach glass. Everyone perceives art differently. I was thrilled to get the photos from my friend and hope you enjoy this one, also.

Although I have hundred's of photos of Chihuly's work, this is the last one I'll use for Pink Saturday for a while.

Enjoy! Happy Pink Saturday!

  8. oh wow! That's beautiful. A happy belated Pink Saturday to you. I was also reading your pesto recipes. LOL...I love Parmesan too much to leave it out. I only have one home made batch in my freezer and I am hoarding that....maybe it will come out in January for a special dinner one cold night. My basil didn't do very well this summer. I think it was just too hot for too long for the plants. ~ Lynn
