Once again my entry for Pink Saturday is from one of Dale Chihuly's garden installations. This one was in Pittsburgh in 2007, but is not a photo that I personally made. It was sent to me by a friend as I was too ill with the MDS and chemo treatments to go to the Pittsburgh exhibit. This tall pink tower that was made to look like a stack of pink gems. Or perhaps pink beach glass. Everyone perceives art differently. I was thrilled to get the photos from my friend and hope you enjoy this one, also.
Although I have hundred's of photos of Chihuly's work, this is the last one I'll use for Pink Saturday for a while.
Enjoy! Happy Pink Saturday!

ReplyDeleteThat looks like one of those rock-sugar coffee stirrers. I feel like licking it already.
ReplyDeleteCool sculpture. And thanks for the pesto recipe above. I'm going to try it out. I love pesto.

oh wow! That's beautiful. A happy belated Pink Saturday to you. I was also reading your pesto recipes. LOL...I love Parmesan too much to leave it out. I only have one home made batch in my freezer and I am hoarding that....maybe it will come out in January for a special dinner one cold night. My basil didn't do very well this summer. I think it was just too hot for too long for the plants. ~ Lynn
