Photo Hunt ~ Furry

Photo Hunt #147: Furry was almost too easy of a theme for me. I had quite a few photos that would fit, just had to choose which one. I finally decided to go with this baby mountain goat that I was able to get some shots of in Glacier National Park.

This image was made in mid-summer. The goats have to have a thick coat of fur to survive the frigid temps later in the year. By winter this little guy would have been much furrier.

Very nice example of furry. Cheese comes to mind for some reason, but cheese couldn't be furry, could it?

I've always wanted to visit Glacier National park. The little horns are too cute. I think this is a sweet picture.

Here are my furry friends!

Awwwwwwwww, I just want to reach out and pet it. Is the mama goat anywhere around? Okay...so I think I'll pass on the petting, I don't want to get myself into trouble. What a cutie!!!

My FURRY is posted. Do come by for a viewing if you can find time, won't you? Happy Hunting.

Great contribution to the PhotoHunt theme. It's unusual to be able to get that close for a good picture. Nice job.

If you who enjoy photo memes, I invite you to check out Sunday Scenery.

Lovely animal. I was chased by one as a child but still like them. ;)

That was my closest encounter ever with mountain goats. And yes, the mom was right nearby. She was keeping a wary eye on me. I used a zoom lens to get this shot. And Glacier NP is a beautiful place to visit. This was during the first few days of July and my children had a snowball fight on a glacier that day.

first time for me to see furrier goats. Here in my country, their fur is just so short probably because of the tropical weather. He's so cute:)
