I had a very early appointment with my doc this morning. My blood tests did not show any improvement in my white count. It is still 0.0. I must pretty much stay in a bubble and wear a mask if I go anywhere or if anyone comes over. And of course I can't be around anyone who is ill. My platelets were down to 4 so I had to get a transfusion of those. And my hematocrit was 8, so I got two units of red cells. Thankfully the picc line is still working very well. I spent most of the day there, then came home and fell back asleep. Abbey and Donnie came over tonight and made dinner for me. I'm hoping to feel like cooking tomorrow night's dinner myself.
On Tuesday I go back to the doc. If my white count is not up any by then, he plans to give me some shots of a drug that might jump start the bone marrow into producing them. So I'm thinking positively and keeping my fingers crossed that I see some improvement by then.
