A mid-century Christmas tablecloth from California Handprints and Fiesta dinnerware make a nice holiday setting. And the food wasn't bad either: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, biscuits, homemade apple butter and fresh brewed coffee.

Oh wow Becky! You inspire me to clean and get the house ready for Christmas. You always have beatiful place settings.
Ces, thanks so much. Mike & I were on our own for the repast. We haven't done much decorating, but the holiday dishes do make it festive.
Oh Becky I just caught up with the medical news. I feel awful that I was so engrossed with my own issues that I stopped visiting my blog friends. I must say that your stamina and outlook is admirable despite your condition. I wish the great gift of well being for Christmas for you. Please take care. The housekeeper seemed to be not bad with the dishes :)
Don't feel bad, Ces. Sometimes I get so caught up with what's going on that I don't visit my blog friends as much as I'd like. Thank you so much. I really am hoping to be better for Christmas. And I was happy with the housekeeper! She didn't get to come on Friday after all, so I'm hoping she will be here bright and early tomorrow.
You set a beautiful table, Becky, but your spirit is what we really admire.
Mary, thank you so much for your words of encouragement. They mean the world to me.
